So what use case doesn't work on

Dedicated short codes hold one distinct advantage over shared short codes in that they can consume any subscriber text and post them directly to your store or your account.

So, for example, if you want to run a campaign where subscribers just send in their mobile numbers or email addresses or a number sequence blindly to one of our marketing short codes, that is not supported. associates subscriber inbound messaging to a store. An existing opt-in relationship needs to be in place before a campaign like this can be executed.

The best way to handle this with is to establish an opt-in keyword and advertise it. Then walk the subscriber through what you want from them after they have opted-in. Since guarantees 2-way messaging you can now capture anything that they send because the platform has binded the subscriber to your store on one of the communication short codes.
